Admin Biographical History Edmund Chilmead (1610-19 February 1654) English writer and translator, musicologist.
He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford, M.A. in 1631. He became a chaplain of Christ Church, Oxford, in 1632-48.
Scope And Content Dedicated to Ussher as archbishop of Armagh (1625-66) but the dedication is altered (?for printing) so as to remove Ussher's titles.
