Scope And Content Two metrical glossaries, viz Ó Dubhagáin's Foras Focal, and that by Rev. Patrick Ó Cuirnín, beginning 'Deirbhsiur do'n eagna in éigsi' (used by Mícheál Ó Cléirigh in compiling his Foclóir, published Louvain, 1643).Published by Stokes, Trans. Philological Soc., 1891, the former from LL 395 and Stowe, No. III (RIA), the latter from the present copy, and RIA 23 L. 21. According to Stokes there is no trustworthy authority for attributing the Forus Focal to Ó Dubhagáin.
Written in 1698 by Eoghan Mac Gilleoin, which Ó Dubhagáin says corresponds to Mac Cleane, for the use of Mr Lochlin Campbell. 8 fols, paper.
This is enclosed in two leaves of vellum, containing part of Stair Fortibrais [see Revue Celtique xix.142-155, 280-290]. This part of the MS = TCD MS 1303, fols 36-37.
Arrangement TCD MS 1303 is a new MS consisting of TCD MSS 1303,1304, 1309 and part of 1307, foliated continuously November 1978 and bound as one manuscript in June 1982. New MS 1303:

1303 fols 19-35 (old 1304, parts I & II)
1303 fols 36-37 (part of 1307)
Phyiscal Description Quarto. The eight paper folios are enclosed in two leaves of vellum.
Custodial History Part of the manuscript collection belonging to the Welsh antiquary Edward Lhuyd (1660-1709). The collection of 44 manuscripts came to Trinity College Library in October 1786 from the Library of Sir John Sebright. Several of the primary Irish legal texts are part of Lhuyd's collection.
